What it does
- A "Viewing now" panel in the issue sidebar, next to Details, lists everyone else who has the issue open.
- Each person is shown with how long they have been on the issue.
- The list refreshes every 15 seconds. People who close the issue disappear at once; a closed browser tab drops off within a minute.
- Works in Jira and in Jira Service Management, in the light and dark theme.
Setup
None. After installation the panel appears on every issue for every licensed user.
Data and privacy
The app runs entirely on Atlassian Forge and contacts no external service. While an issue is open, it stores a short-lived record of the issue ID, the viewer's Atlassian account ID and the time, in Forge storage on the customer's site; each record expires after two minutes. Display names are read from Jira when the panel is shown and are not stored. Details in the privacy policy.
Pricing
Billed by Atlassian through the Atlassian Marketplace, per Jira user, with a free trial. Current prices are on the Marketplace listing. Use is governed by the terms for Jira apps.
Support
Email info@ulte.net with the Jira site address. Replies within one business day (Monday to Friday, Central European Time).

Not in this version.
Is it made by Atlassian?
No. Ulte Who's Viewing for Jira is an independent app by Ulte, not affiliated with or endorsed by Atlassian.
